Day 078w: Roaming for some Respite … (July 01, 2019)
Now that I knew where I would attempting to sleep in a pinch, I roamed the tiny town a bit looking for other alternatives. And yet no matter where I looked – the local tourist bureau, the locked-up tight prior’s house, and a small bevy of closed sanctuaries & local pubs – no offer of shelter was to be found. And so it was that – thinking I was going to have to hide out in the church proper until my sofa became available – I returned to the 300+ bed hostel to say my farewells to the fellow pilgrims I knew, most of whom were returning homeward the following day …
