Day 076k: To vanish into Love … (June 29, 2019)
My previous pilgrim friends smoothly departed into the mist, and I was once again alone on the summit. I walked over to the posted sign that on clearer days helped to identify all that could be seen from that mountainous apex, and I looked up and out to find only the fog. How interesting that I was actually grateful for the same. How fascinating that I could find it to be just as beautiful as any far-reaching vista …

“Both the valleys and the mountains are covered with fog. What to do? There is need to fret or worry, for if your mind is not covered with fog, you will find your path, and if your mind is covered in fog, it can be instantly cleared with the next loving thought or the next kind step … Moonlight might disappear down hillsides and mountains might fade into the mist, and yet I, I ever shine anew when I vanish into Love.” ~ inspired by Mehmet M.
