“None of us are born to just live until we die, and none of us are born to give up. No, we are all born to make ways and carve paths, to stand up against injustice and right wrongs, to reach out to the lonely and give to the poor. And we are all born to do so not when times are easy and circumstances are favorable. We are born to do so when times are tough and our enemies are thick as thieves. We are all born to do greater things, especially in those moments when we are down or miserable or exhausted or in pain – especially when we have been rejected or ridiculed or ignored or turned away. So if you are in a miserable place and you have lost hope or resolve, you mustn’t give up. Stand up instead, stand up and shout that you won’t ever give up. Stand up and take at least one more step in your life’s more noble direction.
