Day 084k: Friends within the Fellowship … (July 07, 2019)

There is great truth in the adage that strangers are simply family members that you have yet to come to know. In truth, family is not determined by bloodline or marriage certificates or divorce papers or adoption documents. Families are always made – and ever re-made – in the heart. Indeed, the only time family becomes null & void is when those ties in the heart are – for whatever reason – cut and tossed aside. Of course, what is not so well known is that for any familial relation to be truly discarded, both sides must do that throwing asunder; that as long as even a single person chooses to maintain an active belief in his or her family (via words &/or deeds of kindness), then that family remains intact – strained, maybe, yet intact all the same.” ~ inspired by C.
