Day 080u: Looking for a lighter Layover … (July 03, 2019)
I headed back out onto The Way and soon enough made it to the town of Puenta la Reina. The parochial hostel at the edge of town exuded an exceptionally “cold” vibe and the people there were less than inviting or kind, and so I wandered on a ways – stopping first into the open church next door to see if I might be able to “stealth sleep” therein that night …Its sanctuary was more than peaceful inside – and it could well have provided me shelter for the night, and yet it felt somehow “wrong” to attempt to stay there for any longer than I needed to quietly & reverently affirm my gratitude for having made it this far and my resolve to continue onward for as long as I might thereafter live …
