Day 080q: Down deep into the Dust … (July 03, 2019)

I remember that it was HOT on this particular day – hot and dry and glaring, both up on Alto der Perdon’s summit, and just as much so on the long and stony walk down its farther slopes. And yet walk-slide-slip-&-stumble my way downward I did, meeting up with Mary from Colorado along the way and walking alongside her in camaraderie all the way to the town of Uterga below …

Those who call you mad will one day honor you, for no true success is possible without at least some madness. And those who laugh at you will one day learn from you, for persisting through the laughter of others is a criteria for any real greatness. And those who know not you exist will one day seek your guidance, for your endless sacrifice will make you a beacon along their way. And those who find you absurd will one day bow to your resolve in veneration, for it is only the most absurd ideas that take us to the most breathtaking destinations. And those who look down on you will one day look up to you, for your bold sacrifice will place you on a pedestal of respect. And those who are deaf to you will one day heed your wisdom, for your voice will echo in their hearts like a purifying symphony … Those who see you as inconsequential will one day pay your efforts proper homage, so breathe deep of your mission. Live it fully & without hesitation or pause, and your deeds will forge your Fate’s foliage.” ~ via Abhijit Naskar
