Day 077o: Revisiting the present’s Past … (June 30, 2019)
It was fun, and indeed is some odd way inspiring, to enter St. Jean and walk the same way I had walked that decade+ ago – the same initial street leading into the town proper, passing the same fortress ruins that overlook the city, passing the same hostel in which I had slept those many years ago (it was closed when I walked by this time), and along the same thoroughfare that would soon lead me to the doors of the local church – and give me sight of the beginning portion of the next major leg of my Great Trek …
