Day 076p: To spread a plague of Peace … (June 29, 2019)

As I exited the church, the Peace of the place was still heavy and soft on my shoulders, and so I chose to pause there awhile longer, looking out upon the surrounding the world – a world that still held so much Beauty; a world to which I so longed to bring Peace…

We might not be able to change the whole world, and yet we can always bring change to our immediate environment. We can be serene in times of turmoil, and thereby bring others serenity. We can be joyful in times of tragedy, and thereby bring others Joy. We can be thankful in times of trial, and thereby bring other Thankfulness. And we can be peaceful in times of conflict, and thereby bring others Peace. For especially during the moments when we are most tempted to suffer, serenity and joy and gratitude and peace are most contagious. So let us smile upon the world with our lives, and become a plague of Harmony!” ~ inspired by Sri Satchidananda
