400/499 … Listening to Nature (10/26/08)
If we are willing to really look and humbly listen, the Universe (specifically our immediate surroundings) continually communicates with our internal Awareness. And it does so not so much with “booming voices” and spectacular visions as it does using subtle, archetypal “whisperings”.
In this case, this fledgling yellow butterfly was a reminder that both I and my mission are being completely reBorn on this pilgrimage (the archetype of yellow = Self emPowerment + the archetype of butterfly = transformation of Self; both made especially poignant by it perching calmly on the index finger of my left hand, the hand of clear perception, before smoothly flying away).
