The timing couldn’t have been better*, as this fellow started playing his pipes the very minute we rounded the corner to enter the Cathedral. I truly adore good bagpipe music, so this was an extra special treat for me.

(*People these days are using the term “synchronicity” to describe “coincidences” that happen in ways and at times that seem meaning-full; that seemingly evidence a communicative connection between one’s person and his/her surroundings. What the Camino makes all too clear is the Truth that this synchronistic connection not only is very real, but that it is also happening in every minute of every sentient being’s life.)
