The more you talk and think about it ,
\nthe further astray you wander from the truth.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nStop talking and thinking,
\nand there is nothing you will not be able to know.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo return to the root is to find the meaning,
\nbut to pursue appearances is to miss the source.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAt the moment of inner enlightenment
\nthere is a going beyond appearance and emptiness.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThe changes that appear to occur in the empty world
\nwe call real only because of our ignorance.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDo not search for the truth;
\nonly cease to cherish opinions.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDo not remain in the dualistic state;
\navoid such pursuits carefully.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIf there is even a trace
\nof this and that, of right and wrong,
\nthe Mind-essence will be lost in confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAlthough all dualities come from the One,
\ndo not be attached even to this One.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen the mind exists undisturbed in the Way,
\nnothing in the world can offend,<\/span><\/p>\n


\nand when a thing can no longer offend,
\nit ceases to exist in the old way.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen no discriminating thoughts arise,
\nthe old mind ceases to exist.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen thought objects vanish,
\nthe thinking-subject vanishes,
\nas when the mind vanishes, objects vanish.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nThings are objects because of the subject [mind];
\nthe mind [subject] is such because of things [objects].<\/span><\/p>\n


\nUnderstand the relativity of these two
\nand the basic reality : the unity of emptiness.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn this Emptiness the two are indistinguishable
\nand each contains in itself the whole world.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIf you do not discriminate between coarse and fine
\nyou will not be tempted to prejudice and opinion.<\/span><\/p>\n

If the eye never sleeps,
\nall dreams will naturally cease.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIf the mind makes no discrimination,
\nthe ten thousand things
\nare as they are, of single essence.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo understand the mystery of this One-essence
\nis to be released from all entanglements.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen all things are seen equally
\nthe timeless Self-essence is reached.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nNo comparisons or analogies are possible
\nin this causeless, relationless state.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nConsider movement stationary
\nand the stationary in motion,
\nboth movement and rest disappear.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen such dualities cease to exist
\nOneness itself cannot exist.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo this ultimate finality
\nno law or description applies.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nFor the unified mind in accord with the Way
\nall self-centered striving ceases.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nDoubts and irresolutions vanish
\nand life in true faith is possible.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nWith a single stroke we are freed from bondage;
\nnothing clings to us and we hold to nothing.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nAll is empty, clear, self-illuminating
\nwith no exertion of the mind\u2019s power.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nHere thought, feeling, knowledge, and imagination
\nare of no value.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn this world of Suchness
\nthere is neither self nor other-than-self.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nTo come directly into harmony with this reality
\njust simply say when doubt arises, “Not two.”
\n<\/span><\/p>\n


\nIn this “not two” nothing is separate,
\nnothing is excluded.<\/span><\/p>\n


\nNo matter when or where,
\nenlightenment means entering this truth.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Merely thinking of Oneness is by nature dualistic, and thus not a doorway thereto. <\/span><\/p>\n

We can only enter the state of Oneness via the portal of selfless, kind deeds.
